The head office is located at Joseph Corneli Allée 1, 6301 KK, Valkenburg aan de Geul. 

Oostwegel Collection adheres to the Uniform Conditions of the Hotel and Catering Industry (Uniforme Voorwaarden Horeca - UVH), that lays out the terms and conditions on which our hospitality services are regulated by.

Cancellation Terms 

When making an online reservation for either Château St. Gerlach or Kruisherenhotel Maastricht, up to five rooms, per reservation can be cancelled free of charge 24 hours prior to the scheduled arrival date, if actioned by 15:00. If cancelling after 15:00, or unable to check-in, 100% of the reservation fee, including taxes, will be charged*. If booking Château Neercanne, cancellation must be actioned at least seven days prior to arrival.

For reservations relating to either Château St. Gerlach or Kruisherenhotel Maastricht, we will authorise your credit card for the full reservation amount, along with a €100 deposit per person, per night 24 hours prior to arrival. Reservations for Château Neercanne will be authorised with a €100 deposit, per person, for the first night and €50 per person, per night thereafter. Please note, this is a payment guarantee only, full settlement will take place at check-out and may be completed using an alternative payment method if preferred.

Should you have a restaurant reservation at Château St. Gerlach or Kruisherenhotel Maastricht, the deposit will serve to guarantee your table. For Château Neercanne, if you have not made a restaurant booking, our team will contact you within 48 hours of receipt of your reservation confirmation email, to assist in securing a table. The deposit will act as a guarantee for your dining experience.

Room reservations are guaranteed until 18:00 on the date of arrival. If arriving later, please inform the hotel reception.

Cancellations must be in writing (email, fax or by mail) or via the online booking system account login. 

Different cancellation terms apply for group reservations. You will receive these with your quotation.

*Reservation fee is the confirmed price for the number of nights booked

Non-Refundable & Reduced Rates

Different cancellation terms apply for our special non-refundable and reduced rates. When booking, the reservation fee must be paid immediately and in full, with no changes or cancellations possible.

Kindly note that your credit card will be pre-authorised at check-in for a security deposit to cover any incidental charges during your stay. This authorisation is a temporary hold and not a final charge. In case you have a restaurant reservation the deposit at check-in will be used as a prepayment.

Holiday Guarantee & Cancellation Policy

In the event of cancellation, you may receive a full refund up to 14 days prior to scheduled arrival. Bookings cancelled within 14 days will be charged at full rate, including taxes. 

Kindly note that your credit card will be pre-authorised 14 days prior to arrival for the full value of your reservation, along with a security deposit to cover any incidental charges during your stay. This authorisation is a temporary hold and not a final charge.

Group Guarantee & Cancellation Policy 

In the event of cancellation between four and two months prior to the start date of the event, 35% of the agreed reservation value will be charged. 

In the event of cancellation between two and one month prior to the start date of the event, 60% of the agreed reservation value will be charged.

In the event of cancellation between one month and 14 days prior to the start date of the event, 80% of the agreed reservation value will be charged.

In the event of cancellation less than 14 days prior to the start date of the event, 100% of the agreed reservation value will be charged.

TEFAF Guarantee & Cancellation Policy

In the event of cancellation between 1 December 2026 and 1 January 2027, 30% of the reservation value will be charged.

In the event of cancellation between 1 January 2027 and 1 February 2027, 60% of the reservation value will be charged.

Bookings cancelled after 1 February 2027 will be charged at full rate, including taxes.

In the last week of January 2027, 100% of the reservation value will be charged from your creditcard. 

Kindly note that your credit card will be pre-authorised at check-in for a security deposit to cover any incidental charges during your stay. The deposit will be used as a prepayment for your restaurant reservation. This amount will be settled at the restaurant. There will be no refund in case of no-show. It is possible to cancel free of charge up to 7 days before arrival.

Heritage Fee 

In support of the preservation and ongoing maintenance of our historic properties, a Heritage Fee of €2.50 per room, per night, is applied when residing at either Château Neercanne, Château St. Gerlach or Kruisherenhotel Maastricht. This vital support provides a welcome contribution to the cultural ancestry of our nationally important historical sites.
