We ask all guests wear swimwear in the pool area but it is optional in the sauna and Turkish bath.

Romanesque indoor pool
Surrounded by neo-classical columns, reminiscent of traditional Roman baths, Spa & Wellness St. Gerlach’s unique, 14-metre indoor swimming pool provides a peaceful sanctuary, where guests can gently exercise or recline poolside. The sauna and Turkish bath offer additional relaxation, and on warm days the floor-to-ceiling glass doors slide back to reveal a sun-drenched terrace, where guests can bask outside whilst enjoying drinks and light snacks. Open daily from 07:00 to 22:00. Children are welcome in the swimming pool between 07:00 to 12:00 and after 16:00. Those under 14 years’ old must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Château St. Gerlach’s abundant gardens provide the foundation for a dining experience based on fresh, locally-grown produce. Guests wishing to remain in the spa can enjoy a light lunch poolside or on the terrace, whilst those looking to experience the historic Château building can visit the informal, Burgemeester Quicx, Coffee & More, gastropub-style Bistrot de Liège or fine-dining establishment, Restaurant Château St. Gerlach.

Nestled in the picturesque Geul valley, the expansive countryside surrounding Spa & Wellness St. Gerlach is popular with those looking to complement spa treatments with exercise including, walking, cycling and jogging. Renowned for purifying effects, early morning barefoot dew walks are particularly suited to the rose courtyard, woodland or vineyard, whilst for those looking to venture further, a selection of popular hikes and trails is available from the reception at Château St. Gerlach.

Children are welcome to use the swimming pool between the hours of 07:00 and 12:00 and after 16:00. Those under 14 years’ old can use the swimming pool only when accompanied, at all times, by a fully-responsible adult. Children under 16 years’ old are not permitted to enter the sauna or Turkish bath.
