Located in the former stables of the original château, L’Auberge de Neercanne, offers a welcoming spot for lunch. Led by Chef de Cuisine, Raymond Remmen and Host, Leo Smeijers, the talented team prepare dishes crafted from regionally sourced produce and ingredients harvested from the estate garden, whilst the drinks menu focuses on Limburg wines and organic beverages. Awarded the Michelin Bib Gourmand since 2012, the restaurant has a stunning outdoor terrace and can also cater for private dining and smaller gatherings during the evenings.

'Leve de jeker'

‘Leve de Jeker’ is an initiative in which we connect both the Dutch and the Belgian community in the Jekerdal.

Through a shared vision of the future in which, on the basis of the three pillars, ecological, economic and social cross-border, all stakeholders within the Jekerdal will work together on a shared stewardship of our environment. As a community we want to learn from each other, inspire and motivate each other to go for the best results together and to make those choices together for now and the future of our beautiful environment. In this way we take our responsibility towards the next generation.

As a result of this collaboration, our sourdough bread now has a “footprint” of less than 1000 steps.
